Hi everyone , noob here, writing from Slovenia [emoji482]
As the title suggests ,my predicament involves my noisy alternator that will need to be removed inspected and fixed or replaced.
The car is a 2004 Yaris D4D 1nd type.
Only problem is that I've heard rumours that the only way to get clearance involves removing the driveshaft underneath... Is this true ?
Secondly, does the alternator itself give tension to the serpentine belt or is there a tensioner somewhere that I'll have to deal with ?
Thanks a million for any help... !
Antonio.
