Hi All,

I have checked the nozzle pipe its working apparently the front pump is not working.

I have looked at the fuse 20A I think its for both front and rear.

How can I access the pump it seems it is behind the front right tyre.

Can anyone help pls how to easily access the pump for further investigation.

Many thanks

Quite easy. There are two pumps btw, one for the front and one for the back and both are attached to the water reservoir. Buy new ones on Ebay for around 5 euros each too.
The reservoir is on the right hand side looking from the rear.
Jack up the car and take the front wheel off.
Undo the studs that attach the wheel arch liner. You don't need to remove it all, just undo the ones near the front plus there is one underneath the front valance.
You can then bend the liner sufficiently to get your hand in and access the pumps and the connectors. The liner is flexible and slotted into parts of the wing - bend it because it won't break. Remove pumps and replace.
Simple. I have done it twice and it takes 20 minutes

I do believe Haynes talks about removing the headlight - don't

the pump can be removed through the wheel arch. Turn the wheel all the way, or just remove it, bend the liner

Excellent Gents

Just to clarify do i need to remove the wheel or not.

I have looked at the wheel there are m10 plastic fastners and m6 screws at the plastic arch.

It is better to remove the wheel to get to the pump with two hands. It must be disconnected from the wires. It is difficult to do this with one hand.
