No Sound On Google Maps on Cell Phone

Hello:
My 2017 Yarris allows me to hook up my phone via Blue Tooth, and it works great... until I go to Google Maps. There is no sound on the phone or the speakers. How can I fix this?

That's a setting within google maps itself. you need to tell it to play the directions over the bluetooth if I remember right.
