Same details as last time, just new date. Also working on dealing with a local Decal company to try and get a set of 50-100 YarisWorld stickers, depending on amount of people planning to go, that look as follows, trying to get 25 in black writing and 15 in red and another 10 in white. All with transparent backgrounds so they fit on all colors.

Well, I have requested the time off from work and I will be there whether or not you guy's show up, so :)

I know that I would just like to spend a majority of time, just chilling...admiring some cars... not to mention IF some diehard Scion guys show, we definatly have some cool stuff to check out.

Theres a lot of mall space to shop if you get bored, not to mention we can always grab some lunch, maybe a bar permitting everyone is 21+

KISS? hrmmm, even though they havnt done anything for a while, I highly doubt that they can fit in us for their tight schedule. You know, Richards making his TV show and all.

Been reading about crowd handling at Downtown Disney recently...and even though I dont fit the 'profile' I dont want any crap coming my way from some skinhead Orange County Sheriff.

I think the mall it is set it quite, I dont think they will have a fit... They have Meets at the Sonic right down the road from there, and they sometimes have to move to fit that many cars... I dont know if they are going to have a fit if we just camp out for a bit. I have not had the meet sanctioned by the mall if that is what you are asking.

And yes, more than likely they wont mind us, seeing that if we bring even a little business I dont think they will mind. Most of their business is from events, and mainly Vans Skate Park. An actual skate park built into the mall, supposably Ron Jons has its own wave tank built in.

I know that the last time I was there, it was pretty baren, but there is plenty of name chain shops that you could go to to actually spend some time browsing. Like I said, I dont see why they would have a fit about us holding an event like this, it brings business, no matter how big or small...

And the reason Disney has a fit about Crowd Control, is mainly because the groups that cause the ruckus deserve it. Or they are causing a problem, I dont think a little bit of car nuts with some semi-loud stereos are gonna attract the attention of the OPD (Orlando Police, or Orange County PD)

I can try to take a cruise today, and speak with a representative of mall events, but good luck with that. Me, a 20-something College kid walking in asking if we could borrow a section of their parking lot for a good portion of the day, They would probably want some kind of compensation.

Anyway you look at it, I dont think it will result in a SWAT team coming to tear gas a group of tuners...Would cost them more money than it is realy worth.

I know what happens with impromptu car shows on public property. Inevitably some fool will start doing crazy shit and attracting attention.

Im getting nervous about this...especially with the pipe bomb at Downtown Disney. The cops are on edge currently.

Isn't there somewhere in Orlando that would welcome us with open arms? To me, a 'mall' parking lot just isnt it.

A Public Park is always an option, there are plenty to choose from. Lake Cane-Marsha Park is nice and easy to get to & from I4 and/or Turnpike.

Hey I appreciate everyone that made it, I was going to stay mainly all day until the Festival Bay Security ended up calling the meet early at the 2.5 hour mark.

I myself showed up late, but I would love to thank everyone that came to check out the Yaris' of Orlando. There was a little bit of all 1.5L who came to play, some TC's came out to show their Toyota Pride.

Barry (RedYaris) and myself got to hang out with some interesting cats out here, and got to see probably the most beautiful Yaris Ive ever seen...

the Kamispeed.com C-ONE Yaris. Oh she is a beaut!

Anyway you look at it, I had a blast...hope those who made it within that time span did too. I want to try again sometime, but I found some scion guys who have a meet on thursdays, occasionally though.

I hope to see you all soon enough. the Yaris hopes so too!

Had fun hanging at the meet. Kudos to Kyle (Sabretooth) for organizing! Enjoyed meeting some fellow Yarians and Scioners.

Ogliyaris also showed up too so we had 4 Yaris on hand. We should have lined all of us up for a pic or two. Maybe next time.

Everyone behaved and security gave us 2 good hours until they started nosing around.

Yes the C One Yaris was the meet star. (I want his tow hook!!!). Nice to know its roaming the streets locally here. At least I have the same style taillights as he does. Heh.

Just to let you know, I got sunburned standing in the damn parking lot!!!!!

Dontcha just love I-75? While you're avoiding the maniacal Georgia Department of Transportation road destruction you have the 'WE BARE ALL' signs to keep you awake.

BTW those signs used to be a LOT better. Had semi nude chicks in seductive poses on them. Too bad the Baptists in the GA Legislature got them removed. :cry:

I went on a road trip to Tampa with a buddy of mine during the summer, as soon as we got off the 10 and headed south on 75, there was a brightly-colored 'We Bare All' billboard every 5 miles until the actual place between Gainesville and Ocala. I like how each one builds it up as you go along. "Free Showers.." "Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner," "Open 24 Hours.." and the ominous 'Couples Welcome.'

Okay, i'll admit it, curiousity killed me and I had to stop and see what all the rage was about. Lets just say they don't call it We Bare All for no reason...of course what would I KNOW about that. :P

Take a trip through Florida on 75 South and you'll see these every five miles or so.

They eventually lead to the mysteriously mysterious Exit 374, with a couple gas stations, a hotel, a run down taqueria, and of course, Cafe Risque, aka the 'We Bare All.' Keep in mind this is in the middle of nowhere somewhere in the space between Gainesville and Ocala. Essentially it's a strip club/ truck stop type place where, well you guessed it, the employees bare all. So now you can watch strippers while eating greasy chicken strips, or perhaps take in a game of pool with some truckers. From what i've heard, there is a second one (first one?) in Georgia as well, complete with signs and all. Funny thing is, the signs have been a staple of Florida interstate travel, along with Free Orange Juice, 20 foot alligator, Indian River fruit, Florida Welcome Station, see Disney free, etc etc.

If there is another meet I would come out. I haven't been to any meets in Orlando. The only meets I've been to in Florida were in Pensacola called Bayfront when I lived outside of Eglin AFB. I would enjoy seeing other Scion and Toyota owners cars and find out what others are doing to their rides here in Orlando.

It happened two days ago. There was $1000 in body damage, $2000 worth of CD's stolen, all the stereo equipment stolen, etc. It's ok I guess though. I just have to pay my deductible of 500 and to have my windows retinted. The insurance company is sending me all new stereo stuff though and paying for almost all of the body work. It is gonna be all new 2007 modals. So I will have better stuff then before. I guess it could have been worse.
