Why am I getting these white spots, what I assume is condensation on only one side of my front head lights, particularly where the sun hits ?
How do I remove it or clean it or prevent it ?

Are you sure that's not the plastic starting to fade? I thought I had the same problem on my 07 hatchback, but it turned out to be fading. I had to wet sand them down and clear coat them with UV clear to fix it.

I've had to move my car where more sun hits the car for the past three weeks and I began to notice this on the one headlight, could this be the cause ? If so, this is frustrating.

Appears to be oxidation, depending on the year of your car that is normal on virtually every single car on the road after time.
Wet sand from 1k up to 3k then polish and cover with a ceramic coat. I have done the uv resistant clear coat but eventually even they start to turn light yellow and they all crack/flake eventually no matter how well you prep the surface. Ceramic coating that is reapplied every year after you clean them up works much better imo.
Or better yet, buy new headlights off of ebay for $100usd. That's what I did and they look great and have held up very well with a ceramic coating over them.

When I wipe it, it appears to go away, I should try again tomorrow; then it immediately comes back. It's 2012.
I, too get this. It does wipe off though and gradually returns. I also get some internal condensation, in winter, that evaporates when the sun shines or the headlights are used. It appears in what looks like a double skin at the top. The same place as the exernal "clouding" appears.
The handbook states that some condensation is quite normal - really? I did take pictures and show the selling dealer, who followed the handbook line, "At that extent, quite normal."
