Hey everyone,
Over the weekend on our way to white castle, a friend sitting in the back noticed that only the left speaker was working when i was playing the ipod through the aux jack. I had the ipod wired from a cord with the identical plugs that go from the ipod's headphone jack directly into the aux jack. When the regular radio played, both rear speakers worked fine. Is something wrong? Is there a quick inexpensive easy solution or fix?

maybe the audio jack wasnt seated properly? whether it was at the ipod or at the jack on the car...

Another thing to watch for is that a lot of AC3(male)-AC3(male) lines (the 3.5mm cord you're using to connect your player to the AUX jack) are single channel. If you rule out cable seating then this is the likely culprit.

You can buy a stereo AC3(male)-AC3(male) for a couple of dollars at any audio or electronics shop. Even Radio Shack carries them.
