I recently bought a Viofo A129 Duo for $157 on Ebay. I like it a lot.
I didn't hardwire it because its safe at work and parked in my back yard behind a 6 foot fence and super bright dusk to dawn LED lights - it's safe. Besides I recently bought a surveillance cam system and one of the cams will watch my car. Also I wanted to reduce writes to the SD card as they are finite.
