View Full Version : New Wheels Photoshoot on Local Wharf

I repainted a set of used 2007 5-spoke 16" Hyundai Accent wheels that I picked up. After about 2 days of curing, I bolted them up today. My son and I popped down to the harbour to take some shots. There are a couple of other shots included.

I've got to say that I absolutely love the look of these wheels. The 16" wheel is perfect with the lower profile over the stock wheel/tire combo. The ride is no harsher, but, man, what a difference in corners! The car handled very well with the 15s and 195/60 tires, but these 16s and 205/50Rs represent a significant improvement.

Thanks WeeYari! They're not perfect and you can see defects up really close, but overall, they turned out pretty good, I think.

16" wheels are the perfect "sporty size" for the Yaris, without going overboard on wheel or tire sizes. That is one reason why the OEM Yaris SE looked so much nicer than the other trims - though the 16" OEM SE offset could have been done a bit better than it was.

I agree. 16 seems to be the perfect size to me. I could do a 17, but I'd want a bit more meat on the tire, aka, a little more sidewall.

Thanks man! Yeah, I was thrilled to see the center caps fit. The offset on the Accent wheels is ET47, I believe. Yes, sig pic needs an updating.
