After 12 years and 145K trouble free miles I sold my 2008 Yaris HB for $3,400. Purchased it with 12 miles for $12,362. Thought I would be the only owner, however, things changed. Looked into buying a 2020 Yaris but had too good of a deal on a new Honda HR-v.
Special thanks to the Moderators of this Forum and CT Scott whose posts proved invaluable.

The two-door Yaris hatchback. Easily the most versatile car ever made! How I wish I might have my old one, but I had to give it to my son!

bronsin, which do you like better---

The Corolla with its CVT transmission is getting 44 miles per gallon at 60 miles an hour on the highway. Now that it’s warmer around town I’m getting 38 to 40.

If I had my druthers I’d rather have the two door 2009 Yaris though. :bow:Much easier to get in and out of and the hatchback is so versatile . The four-speed transmission on the Yaris is bulletproof whereas I have doubts about the CVT. Also the Corolla has no key or button for the trunk you have to use the remote or the latch by your left foot. With the Yaris you have the option to leave the button for the hatch unlocked so it’s just a press the button to open it. :headbang:

The Yaris is a wonderful car it’s a shame Toyota doesn’t make them any more Just like they did in 2009. Perfect car.
