Finally, a new Toyota that looks pretty good IMHO. Too bad it has a continuously variable transmission.

If it is a hybrid, at least it will have the reliable Toyota e-CVT instead of the garbage push-belt design CVT used in non-hybrid vehicles.
I'm not a fan of the styling at all. The Yaris Cross looked a LOT better compared to this & of course won't be offered in the U.S. market. Toyota just sucks in the U.S. market with their offerings, and if things don't change I will likely abandon Toyota vehicles on my next purchase in 2022 or 2023.

That is a big improvement over the previous venza.

Good to know this about the e-CVT. I actually like the rather conservative styling. Looks classy.
At this point, I don't see myself owning another Toyota. Most American models are just too ugly for my liking. Paint quality is horrible! And, most Toyotas have uncomfortable seats for this old back.

Can't say I'm a fan of that design. I seriously considered buying one back in the first year they came out, but haven't liked any of the style changes since. To this day, those first year Venza's are the only 'crossover' vehicle I could see myself in, mainly because they were more like a beefy wagon than proper crossover.

Yup. The one in the photo is 12.3". Seems ridiculously large to me. They've increased from cell phone size to the size of a laptop!
I prefer a smaller screen (7-8") integrated into the dash rather than perched on top of the dash... which is clearly the current trend. Apparently, this appeals to the psyche of those obsessed with their personal devices.

That Stargaze moonroof and electronic tilt/telescoping steering wheel are a surprise. People buying the Lexus NX are going to be jealous. :)
