Headlight not working / Flash light works !!!

Hei ,

I had a problem in headlight.
Flash lights working but normal light is very dimmed ( like not working ).

Any idea , what's wrong.

Im having TOYOTA Yaris I Hatchback (XP10) 1.0 16V (50 KW / 68 HV

Check the headlight fuse. It may be partially burned out. It happened to me once. Replace it regardless.

Order bulbs from rockauto! 2$ each
Check wiring with multimeter after bulbs are tested

If you replace the fuse and it immediately burns out, you may want to replace the headlight stem.

I had the same problem.

When the stem (wand) switch wares out, it's short and blow the fuse.

I was isolated and at night time so I used a 20A fuse to get me home for repairs.
(NOTE: Using a higher amp fuse is dangerous and should only be use in extreme circumstances)
