Hi Folks:
Been many years since I have posted. If you know me I am an avid Yaris fan and still love my vehicle. I'm still hypermiling, but Liberty Rides! has gone down 4-5 miles on average. I'm averaging 44 miles a gallon. Those days of upper 40's with a good bit of 50's are gone. Primarily with change of my original tires. Should of went with OEM tires but the tread wear sucked. Oh, those were the days. To the day I have not had one problem with my Yaris and have almost 100,000 miles. My mechanic told me I can get another 30,000 miles easy! Guess paying hypermiling along with all the middle fingers has payed off!
I remember you all when just a year later from owning the Yaris, I was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma brain tumor. Thank you all for your support in that half year recuperating. I guess it was the mid-2010's that I started to fade away and not post. I was a bit depressed. I was still there, but not posting.
Then in 2019 I came into some money. I have always been a performance muscle car fan. Ford pony cars. This year I ordered a 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt. It is an upgraded version of a GT performance pack I mustang, but with out the badges (subtle look) and some more engine upgrades. It uses the 5.0 Coyote engine but uses the GT-350 intake manifold. The throttle body is also widened larger and uses the open GT 350 air filter. This squeezes an additional 20 HP to a total of 480 naturally aspirated HP. Zero to 60 mph: 4.2 sec / Top speed: 163 mph governed. So, on weekends I'm not hypermiling and getting great gas mileage. I'm burning the octane and driving spirited. On weekdays Liberty Rides! is still my main love. Going to keep her another 5-7 years and trade her in for a Yaris or replacement if the model is discontinued. Here are pictures of Liberty Rides! and Giddyap!:smoking:
