Tas500 (carplay) in hybrid mk3 2014: reverser camera and climate not working.

I recently installed a new media unit in my 2014 hybrid originating from a 2020 gasoline. I was avare I would loose the hybrid specific functions such as battery charge level etc since you don't get those features when buying a new hybrid with the tas500 installed, but should be able to get reverse camera and climate information working. I don't.

Any suggestions? Rewiring required or should I firmware update? Any modifications to the interface required?

There are no climate or hybrid displays on the TAS500

the TAS500 uses a different method for detecting the reverse signal (canbus) but the Unit still supports the old touch 2 pinouts so the camera can be triggered by a reverse signal (12v)
