Cruise control problems

Do any one know why a oem cruise control (plug and play)does work in a europe Yaris 1,0 from 2013 ?

Can not say with certainty but I believe that the ECU for the 1.0 litre engine does not support cruise control. I think I remember reading this somewhere on here when another European member had the same problem.

Can you activate cruise control in the ECU with a Bosch tester ? Does anyone know?

Did you read this thread? According to CTScott, who was the resident guru here, the only way to get cruise control for a 1.0 litre EU model is to install a complete aftermarket system. The ECU does not support cruise function on its own.
