Finally Backup Camera

I finally got around to installing the Backup camera in my 2010 Yaris. I like it.

The one thing about the Yaris is NO One knows the correct wire colors. At the rear light Plug there are 5 wires, Light Green, Purple, White/Black, Green and looks like Brown.

I'll take a picture later but the White/Black is ground and the reverse wire is right beside it. Crutchfield said it was Red, at the bulb itself there is a red/blue.

Awesome! I don't have the best vision, but where is the camera mounted? It would to be great to hear more about your installation. I'm considering one for my Yaris RS. I already have a 7" android, camera ready unit in mine.

Sir, the camera is the black dot just below the rear hatch open button. Its a flush mount Crux CUB-01 (https://www.cruxinterfacing.com/listings/cub-01/).

The power wire has to be extended about 2-3 feet to reach the rear light area.

It comes with a cheap drill bit, DON'T USE IT, get a decent drill bit.
