Ok, so Im wanting to swap out my meter (instrument cluster) for a meter from a '10 Sedan that is at my local salvage. PROBLEM: when I look up to see if the '10 meter will fit mine it tells me that "doesn't fit". However, the one that does fit mine, fits the 08 & 09 and the '10 does as well. So can anyone please explain to me why its telling me why the '07 & '10 wont interchange, when both will fit the 08 & 09?? Oh and I probably should include that mine has the speedometer only and the '10 has the combo tach/speedo. :iono:

Where are you "looking up" the compatibility? The only way to know for sure is to get a copy of the electrical wiring diagram (EWD) from Toyota and check all the wiring connections, or just buy one and plug it in. =)

Gotcha. I haven't looked at sedan clusters before so I'm not sure what might be different. I swapped my hatch cluster to one with a tach a long time ago, it was just plug and play.

If you have a you-pull yard nearby with one in stock you can use that to see if it works and take it back if it doesn't.
