What should I buy if money is not a concern. I heard ceramic brakes are the longest lasting. I am not sure about the rotors
Amazon and ebay has lots of chinese made so I am not sure where to go.

I've had a few different brands in my car over the last 10 years but the best stuff I've had is the Bosch brand stuff I put in just a few weeks ago. I had some cheap "pagid" and "eicher" brand stuff Euro Car Parts here in the UK sell and honestly it was shite.

I followed the advice of a bunch of car guys and tried the Wagner ThermoQuiets on my last break job and have been happy so far. Decent quality for the money and went in smoothly with no issues.

What are you looking for? Better performance (more bite, less fade, etc)? Longer lasting?
Generally speaking, the higher the "performance" the brake pad is, the more dust and noise they will have. They will also require higher temperatures to be within their operating temps, so they may actually perform worse than OEM when cold (both weather-wise and the pads themselves).
Rotors, stay away from "cross-drilled" ones. They will crack on you, especially cheaply made ones. If you need better water dispersion, you can get slotted only rotors. However, ventilated "blank" rotors will be more than enough.
Also think about your brake fluid too. That's overlooked a lot, and a lot of the times, is probably the one thing you need to change if you just want better brake pedal feel and response.
Now, if money were not an issue, probably do a 5-lug conversion (iirc, using Scion xD parts), and then get a (good, name brand) BBK.
