Hei.

I have a TOYOTA Yaris I Hatchback (XP10) 1.0 16V (50 KW / 68 HV).

I want to add some more engine oil to the car
But the existing engine oil type is unknown.

Which engine oil is preferable.
Is it Okey to add more NEW type of oil.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. You can top it off.

You could just change the oil & filter and know exactly what you have.
Cheap insurance, worry free.
Or you can touch up what's in there with the recommended oil for your environment.
I would be surprised if there were any ill effects.

The rule around here is new to you motor, change oil & filter immediately.

If you had oil 5W 30 is what the manual calls for. That should be add instead of head. More talk to text discrepancies!

I would just do a full oil change. If you don't know what's in the engine now, then most likely you don't know how long it has been in there. So you run the risk of driving with oil that really isn't lubricating the engine anymore.
