I once drove in the town of Lethbridge on my road trip to Alaska. I might be wrong but as I recall the speed limit was 20 km/h in town! Try as I might my speed kept creeping up until I was afraid of getting a ticket when I would slow down again only to speed up again!.
I don’t know how you drive 20 km an hour and stay sane! :iono:

School zones are 40 kph, so I highly doubt you encountered a 20 kph stretch of road.

I said I might be wrong, but 40 km/h I’m pretty sure it wasn’t that high. That would be normal speed in town in the United States.
I searched Google for Lethbridge is speed limits I only got the highway limit of 90 kilometers per hour

In town is typically 50kph
Some subdivisions or schools zones are 40kph.
Highways range from 90 to 100 or 110kph depending on province and lay of the land.
