My front wiper arm (xp130 big single wiper) decided to come apart on the way to work this morning. I've ordered a new one (174 quid!!!!!:eyebulge:) which should be in tomorrow but I'm trying to get the old one off and having some issues.

I've removed the cover and the 14mm nut and used my wiper arm puller to take it off but I can't seem to get the other arm off. I've tried giving it a bit of a wiggle and tried to pry off with a screwdriver but the bugger isn't budging. There is no exposed bolt on it to use the wee puller no and I can't see any clips or retaining screws on it. Looking on ebay at wiper linkages it just looks like it should pop off, do I just need to be a bit more force or is there a method?

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

You could get (rent for free) a puller from autozone. Or get one for $10 (https://www.carid.com/performance-tool/windshield-wiper-arm-removal-tool-mpn-w86555.html?singleid=1099749331)

Answered my own question, just gave it a lever from underneath while wiggling a bit and it popped off.
