My daughter gave me her white 2012 yaris sedan.

My 1st post!
Love how simple this car is to drive! Reminds me of my first car and toyota, a 1969 corona. Has just 115000 miles and is in very good shape too!
But why do the 2012s Yaris i see online have the instrument panal over the steering wheel? It seems the 2011 is more of what i have. But the manual says its a twelve and so does the DMV. Kinda confusing but hey....its free!

IIRC Toyota made 2012 sedans which they sold to rental car companies only, they were not available to the public at large. It is somewhat of a rare bird but it's exactly the same as the 2011 sedan.

My daughter informed me i better take the Yaris to a Toyota service shop to take of a little recall issue. What k8nd of a recall i asked and she said the drivers airbag can kill you, thats all.
Also needs new tires up front and a new windshield. Still...a great car to buzz around in.
