Springs 100%.

If you want quality but are on a tight budget then coilovers ate out of the picture.

I have a set of Megan Racing springs on my NCP131 running stock struts. Rides nice and looks good. Definitely go with springs if you're on a budget.

Ive seen you on the form before, thank you for answering! I have a question about your swapped car. how hard was the swab and how much power does the engine make? is it turbo'd?

It probably makes around mid 130's to low 140's whp. I've never dyno'd it, that is based off of my best guess relative to Tom Armstrong's set up that he dyno'd.

It is not turbo'd and never will be, I want to keep it reliable for the track.

The swap is probably as "easy" as it gets for putting a different engine in a car. That said it's all relative to your skillset, experience and tools. No matter what there will always be issues and troubleshooting you need to do. In my case I had to find a shorter axle as I had axle being issues that no one else seemed to have.

I have the Tein's lowering springs currently with the stock struts, and it does make the car bounce a little and oscillate after going a speed bump, but not too bad. Quite a few here uses the Bilstein B8 shocks with their lowering springs and are happy with it, so I'll be doing the same thing in the near future.

how did you get to the front springs btw? did you have to take off the front wipers?

Requires removing the wiper arms, wiper cowl and drip tray, Its super easy. The entire wiper linkage assembly and motor lifts out after removing the bolts.

I can't remember exactly what sizes but definitely have a 10mm, 12mm and 14mm with you along with an extension.
