I had a 2000 Yaris Verso Linea Sol, and it was relatively well sound proofed. Then I bought a 2001 Yaris Verso, and I found it to have much poorer sound proofing. Is there a difference in sound deadening between the 00 and 01 model of Yaris Verso? Have you encountered Yaris Versos with better sound proofing than others and how do you tell from the VIN or year model how well the sound proofing is?
