Hi,
I noticed that the "foam padding" attached on the AC compressor discharge line leading to the condenser and adjacent to the fan shroud was gone, probably hanging there for some time and now leaving a big opening on top of the fan shroud.
i dont know if i can replace this since there is no available part number or might just leave it open. I was also thinking of putting a dishwashing sponge of the same size and secure it to cover that opening.
There is a rubber flapper below that served a purpose and leaving the area open I assume might cause some negative effects??
Do i need to put something to cover the big opening or might just leave it?
