Hi all,
My son just got a 2012 Yaris sedan and it only came with a valet key and is missing the remote entry keys. According to the manual, this car comes with 2 remote keys. Without paying who knows how much at the local dealer to set up new keys, is this something I can do cheaper? Can someone give me directions on where to buy the keys and what to do?

Also, I should note that these current 'remade' keys work without an engine stop chip so I am pretty sure it doesn't need an engine stop chip.

Thanks.

Try this outfit https://www.keylessentryremotefob.com/shop-by-car-make/toyota/yaris/2012-toyota-yaris/
They should also help with programming instructions that you can do yourself in the car.

Without having a Masterkey, the dealship said that labor would be at least 400! I am concern I am missing something. Do I need to get a new module too? Or will just a key with the programing instructions work?

I found these instructions on Keyless install: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0176/5842/files/00016-32901y.pdf
