Theoretical MPG Hits?

Stock setup on my 2015:
175/65
15x5.5 +39
Stock suspension

Potential setup:
195/55
15x7 +38
Tein S Techs, KYB Excel-G shocks and struts, and TRD rear sway bar

I drive the car 60 miles every weekday on the highway and in the city.

1) Would there be a hit to my MPG if I switched to the second setup?
2) Will this setup put any stress on the various suspension components?
3) How do the lowering springs + shocks & struts + rear sway bar feel on the streets?

You may see a slight drop (1-2 MPG) depending on the type of tire that you choose to go with. Generally, the stickier the tire, the more of a drop.

I am running 15x7 RPF1 (I cannot remember the offset) wrapped in 205/50R15 Vredestein Quatrac 5 (they are all-season with a snow rating). I also have the TRD springs and struts with the rear sway bar.

When driving highway, I get about 38 MPG and city is about 32 MPG.

I can't speak for the springs, but I believe those shocks are similar to, if not the same as the TRD shocks. The ride quality is great, and not too harsh. I think its got a really good balance between stiffness and harshness.

You will absolutely not regret the rear sway bar. The best thing I noticed about it is that it gets rid of the swaying on the highway.

Do you mind sending me pictures? The RPF1s in that size are +35. I'm looking to get some Enkei Compes in the same exact size, so seeing the way your Yaris sits would give me a near identical idea of what mine could potentially look like.

Completely depends upon driving environment. You could see an improvement in city driving with shorter gearing caused by smaller tires
