Hi all
Hope you are very well!
Long story short have been trying to fix a PO441 (incorrect purge flow) error code.
Did all check: gas tank cap, purge solenoid, cracked/loose hoses, etc
For a 2015 yaris.
Today a checked the charcoal canister part: 7774052110 for cracks or leaks.
Seems to be ok but while testing for leaks noticed something strange. When I sealed all ports and to blow air I noticed that air was coming out of the 7 pin connector (see photo) which seems odd. Is that connector open to air?
I noticed that the part is vapor leak detection pump: 90910AF006 or 90910-14008 and it is part of 7774052110 and it is used in many other models.
Tried to pull the vapor leak detection pump but couldn't
Is it ok that air comes out of the 7 pin connector?
Is there a way to test the pump for leaks and also for correct engagement?
Any suggestions?
thanks!!
