Installing a Cabin Air Filter in a 138K Mile Yaris

Greetings,

Recently purchased a 2008 Yaris Liftback 3-Door that is running well with 138K miles on it. Just checked and find that it does not have cabin air filter. We are the 3rd owners. No idea if it ever had a filter installed. I will order a new filter tomorrow. But, wanted to find out if there is anything I should clean before I install the filter. Thanks in advance.

My wifes 09 was the same way, no filter, so I dropped the blower motor and cleaned the fan. It wasn't too dirty.
