Hi to all!
I have tried to search on this forum and rest of the Internet also, but have not found the answer to my specific query.
I have Toyota Platz 2005 1.0L (sedan), manual transmission. I think it is called Yaris Internationally, if I am correct.
I want to know the correct gap for spark plug used in this car. Toyota Platz was available with three engine sizes, 1.0L, 1.3L and 1.5L.
I bought this car as used, so didn't get any owner's manual. The owner’s manual available on the Internet, for this car is for 1.5L engine only. The spark plug gap mentioned for 1.5L car is 0.8mm (0.031”). Now I want to know, will the spark plug gap be the same for 1.0L also? If someone has specific knowledge about the 1.0L variant, kindly tell me the spark plug gap for it.
Also, just for sake of knowledge, wanted to know, what will be the effects, if the gap is little shorter or little wider? Any fuel efficiency?
