Wow. I wish i had a chance to drive any of those cars but CA laws make it so hard to import them here.
Rice...
(Heh, I'm not even American and I'm using that word.)

If it's true that it has 460bhp, the weight may not matter that much

Unfortunately, I can't afford the R32 yet .. so I'm gonna pick up the Nissan Silvia instead. Still plan on doing the R32 front end conversion I was gonna do on the 240 hatch. Maybe I'll get silly and do the tails too to make it an S13 "Skyline" lol.

R32's GTR's are dirt cheap here in Canada. Thanks to our 15 year rule, there's literally thousands of RHD cars locally here. GTR's sell for around 12kcdn to 16kcdn for pristine cars. Cheap, but a bitch and a half if u need any parts.

there must be 10-15 here in town - never looked into it but I think there is a club here and they help import through Vancouver. very nice cars, if you read Performance Auto & Sound theres a canadian add for importing these and many other over 15 cars.

1/3 of the advertising dollars for my website comes from JDM importers :bellyroll:. The # of skylines in Calgary is getting pretty ridiculous, on an average drive home from work I see about 4 each way, with about 1/2 of them being GT-R's.
Most of them are in pretty crappy condition too. Here's some of the better ones that was at our local import show a week ago. I think that's from the local skyline club, or an importer's display.

Of course, we know how potent these car are. Most of the ppl buy them and do nothing to the car just drive 'em around cuz they're skylines. Alberta's top 10 quickest drag cars, none are skylines. A 240 with a RB26 did make the honerable mentions list. Of the track days that I've instructed, no skylines ever show up. Kind of a shame.

So sad that Skylines aren't getting the appreciated track abuse they deserve! Wish it were easier in the states to get our hands on 'em. For the price companies ask to import them It isn't worth the trouble or wait. Unless of course that day came where I had the money to through around...
