I don't see how that even matters unless you intend to race it on a track (and the only place you should be even thinking about going that fast)...

Cheers

I agree completely, keep it to the track, just posted up the info so peeps who do plan on visiting the track will know when it kicks in..

nobody said it was my car that reached these speeds...

Is it fuel cutoff or ignition?

Couldn't agree more also. For the safety of both thyself and others on the road.

Why is this a problem for anybody??? If you wanted to go faster than 118mph, then why did you get a YARIS???

I call BS on that unless you are running a standalone there is no way you did it. Our top speed is computer limited, so one could install any mod they pleased and could not do 130mph. There was a myth that if you pull your e-brake to the first notch that would over ride the limiter and I'll tell you from personal experience that does not work. I toped out my car back to back with the e-brake engaged and with out and in both cases I toped out at 118 mph. Sorry but its not possible.

the ~110mph is limited only in NORTH AMERICA. Searching on youtube for yaris acceleration or top speed.. most can do 200kmh...
