Hello,

I replaced my original radio (https://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63561) and found one 24pin unused plug inside front panel. It is connected with 4 cables: white, black, red, grey.

Might it be used for rear camera? If so, where do it goes on the other end?
I also found spare 5pin plug inside rear doors near camera hole. It is connected with 3 cables: light blue, black and light brown.

Could there be a chance to reuse some wiring to install rear camera, or custom wiring is required for it?

Hello
The 3 pin connector on the back hatch is not for the camera. It is for the optional key switch to lock/unlock the car in some models. Mine also didn't have the camera option installed from the factory. The 24 pin plug with the camera connections from the head unit goes to a blank/ unused connector on the driver's side footwell/door area (left hand drive vechicle) and ends there. The factory didn't fit the harness from that point on to the boot area.

Hope that helped.

Hello,
Could you specify exact blank connector located at the door area? How it could be identified?
