Light sensor but no auto lights

Hello there! Cit.

I have the Toyota Yaris Hybrid Active 2018 with light sensor under the windscreen, but I don't have the 'Auto' mode in lights lever (I have the Auto High Beam). If I buy the light switch lever with 'Auto', will it works? I also bought the Cruise Control lever and installed it, the car doesn't have that OEM, but with 20€ now it works without problems!

It's going to depend on whether your body control module supports automatic headlights. The sensor goes to the body control module as does the auto switch wiring on the headlight stalk. If your car has all that wiring and the body control module supports auto headlights, then I reckon you'd be in luck.

How do I know? Is there any way to see the wiring? Thanks!

Option 1: Hook the switch up and see if it works. Option 2: Compare the part numbers of body control modules to see if they differ and get the wiring diagrams to start tracing and testing the circuits

PS: I don't have the mirror-automatic retractable, so I have the cable drive but not the motordrive or the button inside the car...:confused:

if doesn't work, the car doesn't have the correct wiring, my Yaris is an 'Active' one, but now is like a 'Trend' one with cruise control, auto lights and auto folding mirrors installed :D

Hey vins. I have a 2018 hybrid feel in Spain that has auto high beams but not auto lights. You think I could do the same? Also, what did you use to get the auto folding mirrors. I’d be interested in that too. Thanks.
