Lowering the drivers seat

Has anyone tried lowering the driver's seat height? I just bought a 08 sedan. The seats are fine but I think it would fit me better if the mounting brackets for the slides were flat. Has anyone tried swapping them out? Or tired something else?

I agree that the seat is too high. I have never heard of anyone doing any mods for this problem though. You could try taking the car to a fabricator and asking if he can fabricate a new bracket that sits flat and still bolts up properly
