Speedometer not working

Toyota vitz RS 08 manual trans, speedometer and odometer are not working, I also have an abs and brake warning light otherwise the car drives perfect. I checked it doesn't have a speed sensor on the transmission. anyone with an idea of how to fix this????

Depending on model, speed is read off the ABS sensors. I'd say there's something wrong with your ABS sensor(s) or ABS computer/actuator unit. Best way to narrow down the problem is to pull the codes via an OBDII reader to see if you can determine what's causing the error
