Lightweight crank pulleys?

Looking to maybe put some lightweight pulley on my Yaris but I'm a bit hesitant about reliability since I drive this car over 40k a year.

There doesn't seem to be many options for the 1nz, so far my options are a vividracing or AROSPEED on ebay.

Has anyone had experience with these parts and the quality? I'm also worried about the stock pulley being a harmonic balancer and potentially putting wear on the crankshaft if I remove that balancer. If so, I am debating if this is more of a "race car" mod rather than long-term reliability.

In my experience it didn't do much, better invest in lightweight flywheel

I have the NST crank pulley on my car, its definitely more responsive and heel-toe downshifting is a breeze.

The downside is that there is less rotating inertia so you have to slip the clutch a bit more to get going smoothly, not a big deal if you're a competent manual driver.

i would recommend not doing light weight crank pulleys, they dont have any harmonic dampening, so you will ruin your crankshaft bearings prematurely

1NZ-FEs aren't internally balanced?

There is no harmonic balancing on the Echo, the engine must be internally balanced.

Yari' use the same crank pulley as the Echo despite them only using one accessory belt.

NST crank works okay for N/A. they will break under pressure. (+5 years)
NST water pump pully DOES NOT work. the belt eats through the thin aluminum (6months)
NST alt pully works fine. you save 2g or whatever. not worth paying for IMO.
