In my searches I read a guy that said a high 16 before his pulley or somthin like that.
This has a high 16 out of a manual.

I would think theres got to be sombody at least hittin low low 16's to high 15's with a couple bolt ons and some stickys. They got a 84 mph trap in that msn article, anybody else duplicated that? Cause that shows some potential.

I got a official 17.356 @ 78.46 (automatic) with a NST pulley and TRD exhaust. I had removed floor mats, glove box, front passenger & rear seat, spare, etc. I'm waiting for NOS or chino's intake before I attempt to go again.
This is what my slip said from my best run:
R/T: .157
60': 2.551
330: 7.256
1/8: 11.123
MPH: 63.84
1000: 14.490
1/4: 17.356
MPH: 78.46

It suprises me how I have no interest in the 1/4 mile any more. I was once a huge drag racing fan. Raced many of my own vehicles. But now my taste is progressing and my interests of circuit and drifting have come to over power my love for straight line power.
It's all about that cornering!
But I'm still very curious to see if anyone has broke even 15 SECOND times.

Hey Joe, lets meet at Norwalk or something and break that 17 second barrier! Maybe one of us has a thoroughbread.

I think the Yaris is doomed in N/A mode in the 1/4 mile. This is a car that makes straightlines out of corners.
I bet with a ZPI tubo kit you are looking in the 14's. The only thoguht would be loss of traction due to front tire(s) spinning out of control. Since no ones done it, looks like I'll have to get the stoopid turbo and see what 180WHP does in a Yaris. I am betting 0-60 sub 6 and 1/4 mile in the mid 14's.

I got 66.37 by accelerating to 15 MPH while keeping it under 2,000 RPM, and then FAS'ing for the rest of the distance.

My saturn wagon SW2 runs a 15.6 on the g-tech at the track 2000 ft elevation the best I ran in the saturn was a 15.9. MY Echo hatch 3 door (long gone) ran a 16.5 without bolt ons so Im a bit sad about my 3 door yaris.
