Is it possible to separate thse AC lines?

I am working on 2012 Yaris after crash, and need to replace AC low pressure line. It appears as the line consist of two parts = the shorter piece, which is attached to the compressor (that piece is damaged) and the longer, all aluminum piece that goes into expansion valve. Those two pieces are sold as two separate parts. They are connected with some sort of coupling, and I can't figure out how to separate them. I broke off plastic pieces form coupling already. I can take out both pieces, of coarse, but the longer piece is rather pricey. If anyome can help me how to separate those lines, would me much appreciated!

totaly different line that whats on the 05-07 as well as the 08 and 09s after that ive got no clue

with that said looking at the line it looks like its a slide release much the way alot of modern fuelinjection lines require that tool that clips over the line and shoves into the coupler to release the tangs...i may be 100% wrong but thats the best guess i can give ya

Yes, I removed radiator support and other parts from a donor 2010 Yaris, and I saw those 2 AC line that were connected with regular fittings, with a bolt for tightening. So this appears specific for 2012 and newer models.

i still bet its a "quick coupler" ..specificly look up the quick coupler for FI...i know they make tools to pull those in a rather large amount of sizes so

It was indeed quick coupler. Finally separated with a help of a "tool" that I cut out of Perrier plastic bottle cap. These caps are made of thicker and more rigid plastic than water bottle caps. So it did the trick. In case someone will need to disconnect these lines, you can cut plastic along the rim of a cap, trim excess so that once you wrap it around aluminum tubing of the AC line, it is about same OD as the tubing . Next, you push it against petals of the plastic fitting of the coupler (in my case I had to drive it inside the female portion of the coupling with a screwdriver and rubber mallet, as I broke off all petals earlier), and simultaneously separate the lines with some wiggle and swearing)).
