Hi
Well, today, after hours of research on youtube and the forums here, plus help from "kevin93", after spending the huge sum of $26, I got the cruise control fitted and working in 12 minutes.

Everything works just like my Aurion. Perfect..ooo.

Thanks to ALL.

Hard to believe this was an $800 option in 2012.

I think this is the best upgrade I did to my Yaris...

Congrats on your successful upgrade @garisyaris! Would you be willing to provide links to any of the particular Youtube videos and forum posts that you found most helpful to completing this install? I also have a 2012 and would love to make this upgrade too. Thanks!

I love how easy it is to install cruise in these cars.

Here is a link to a cruise control installation guide for 2006-2011 models: https://drive.proton.me/urls/7XWG09HRY8#31A4mWNcgbVE

The 2012 Yaris should be an identical install to the 2011 except for different airbag retaining mechanism. This is according to Yarisworld legend CTScott. I would trust that guy.

Thanks for PDF... the first paragraph disappointed me though.

This guide is for installing OEM cruise control on US/Canada/Puerto Rico Yaris only. Only Yaris for these areas have cruise control functionality built into the ECM. Yaris for all other areas will require an aftermarket cruise control system.

I am sobbing in the corner now.

These are the main links I got my info from, plus just searching the forums.
The stalk part number was 84632-34011 purchased from ebay. I have an AUTO Yaris with steering wheel audio controls. I think that MIGHT make it more 'pre-wired' and ready to go.

Still no probs with mine. Great....
