working with an 07 5dr
whats the difference between a 4dr axle back pipe and a 5dr?...is it just tip placement or is there other things at play here..i assume the front section of pipe is the same 4dr/5dr?...for that matter is the axle back the same on a 3dr and 5dr?
looking at the car and manuals..am i right in this more or less..im assuming
header, cat, cat, bend, resonator, bends to joint ,joint axle back, muffler, tip
im looking for flow not noise..quiet is nice and usefull tho a lil rumble when deep in the pedal i wont argue with

Sedan tailpipe after the muffler is longer. AFAIK there is no difference between 3dr and 5dr axle backs.

that atleast points me in the right direction
how about the mid pipe section..is a 3dr and 5dr the same there?..i assume the wheelbase is "close"...obviously the 4dr is what 3-6 inches longer than the 5dr in the mid section...but im not sure on the 3dr being the same part?

ok soooooo the DC fell thru
but...i got wondering, the XB ran the 1nz, and dc offers a long tube for those..heck theres even chineese knockoffs on ebay...for CHEEP, how much different is the header?
i cant find any usefull shots of the yaris dc header
im no stranger to welding and fabbin ..im just wondering if maybe the XB might be the better route

if you can weld thick manifold flanges, then yeah you should get it to fit easily, i have a small mig welder from harbor freight and all my welds were a disaster with porous holes all around my welds so i just gave up

im assuming you mean the flange to pipe? and not the head since im talking about the 1nz
i wouldnt wnat to do a head flange without having a spare head on a bench..too high a chance of warpage due to the heat required...ive got the gear to do it tho
