Hi all,
I'm suspecting my blend door actuator has gone bad, since the air blows warm and it has been recharged completely. AC lines are cold and compressor is working.
My yaris has automatic AC. Can someone tell me where the actuator is located and what is the part number?
Thank you!

Do some investigating. Sometimes something from the glovebox will get stick in the mechanisms. Pop out the glove box and take a look. If the controls feel loose the watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrcGUE4ud2Q

It is automatic AC so no mechanic parts there, and increasing blower speed works as expected. I'll take a look anyway if something is loose.

I used the TechStream and managed to find the following code:
B1421 Solar Sensor Circuit (Passenger Side)
I also noticed that now always blowing hot air, and when the AC is on, it is colder.
Does anyone know if I need to disassemble the dash to replace it?
Thank you!

Just learned when you scan on a dark place this code can appear. After reset and trying on sun light it is gone.
But this problem is getting me crazy. I noticed when fan speed is low ( up to 4/10) it blows cold. When I set the fan speed to max it blows hot. But then even reducing to low fan speed, it blows hot still. Then I need to restart the car in order to have it cold again.
What is funny is when fan speed is above speed threshold (4/10) I hear a muffled noise and it turns immediately hot. As If the mix air damper shut and lock
I'm starting to think I have a bad control unit (my is automatic). I'll go to a shop next week.
