I'm not a mechanic or really to aware how everything works. I'm 19 and this is my first car and had it for about 5 months.
I parked over to a friends house and when I came back I smelt smoke, popped the hood and seem like something was on fire

My assessment is that piece of the firewall was hanging to low and got caught up into the exhaust manifold and caught fire as it heated up?
Not sure how accurate this is or if this is a deeper issue.
Please assist as I use my car for school and work and would like to resolve this issue asap before/if it gets any worse

Edit: It seems like my gifs turned out as pictures so I will attach Vimeo links of the video I took to take a better look

Something is dripping on the exhaust manifold you are right. There is a shiny black circular rubber thing on the left just above the black rubber boot. It looks oil wet or wet with something. Perhaps that is what is dripping. Maybe you can reach it With your finger and figure out what it is and get back to us

That's just where the ac compressor lets off its condensation
there's a tube above it that's ran right above that bolt for some reason
It's just water
I always run ac
