QUESTION/HELP ABOUT CENTER CONSOLE

I took of the center console to run some wires, and I lifted up the part of the console where the tray is. And I cant seem to snap it back in place. It doesnt look like anything is wrong with it, but I know that its wrong. Does anyone know how to put it back in. Thanks.

I had the same problem the first couple of times I pulled mine out. The two snaps on either side of that area are hard as hell to get back in, I think I had to lie on my back with a flashlight to line things up. My console pinches in in this area and I had to pull the sides apart a bit to get them. Maybe thisll work?

Mine snaps back in no problem. Check to see if the fasteners are damaged.

keep trying, slowly do force anything!

That thing is a bitch....mine is sitting slightly higher than it used to right above the A/C vents. Ive thought of gluing a brick to it to assist.
