I need one of these things: Folding Seat Latch Release Handle (Rear)

It costs around $3 at Toyota Dealerships online. And the shipping cost is $17.

I'm wondering, if I went to Menards or Lowe's, if there might be something else that could easily substitute.

without knowing the thread pitch its hard to be of any real help..but id bet a old pop up door lock from any older car would work

since they make the part and is readily avaiable why not buy the oem one? it will be perfect fit and operation and wont look like a ghetto crapsterpeice

SOLVED:

I found this product at Menards that does the job:
Screw Post 1/4 OD by 1.5" length
