2014 Yaris LE 2-door hatchback here.

The 2 items marked in the pic below have lost power.

The cigarette lighter has no power.
The round air-flow control knob doesn't light up when I turn on the lights.

Curiously, the "air re-circulation" button (the one with the looping back arrow on it), when pressed, lights up.

What would be your diagnosis of the problem?

And what will it require to fix, please? (I'm hoping it's something as simple as a fuse replacement.)

Thanks in advance.

not lighting up is likely just a bad bulb and not related to the cig lighter..the cig should be on a fuse mostly by itself

im 99% positive that all of the lighting is a "shared" setup IE all 3 hvac controls get their feed from a single source and ground thru the same wire, so if you had an electrical issue ALL of them would be out not just 1...so you need to replace the bulbs

2 different issues, unrelated.

First your cigarette lighter fuse is blown. It is located in the fuse box under the driver's side dash. The cover should have a list of which fuse controls what.

Second, the lights for your A/C control have burned out. They are somewhat of a pain to replace....there's a thread around here somewhere explaining how to do it.
