Just bought 2006 Yaris in UK, 1 litre model 3 door hatch. Found to my suprise that it appears there are no rear speakers fitted. Does anybody out there know how to install rear speakers, as the factory fitted cd player has fader on it.

Cheers.:iono:

Go to ebay and find yourself a Toyota Factory Maintenance manual CD for your Yaris. I found one for my 2007 Yaris Hatchback for less than $10.00 to include shipping cost. This 2007 Yaris maintenance CD has a great deal of excellent information. To include any questions concerning you audio needs.

Thanks for that, will give it a try. In the meantime if anyone has installed rear speakers, I would be glad forsome advice.

Factory manual can be found here (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1768).

DIY for changing rear speakers can be found in here (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3113).

Good luck!

EDIT: This only applies to the new model of Yaris. If you have the old style, you'll have to look elsewhere!

If you have the old style, you don't have rear speakers, nor any spot or them
