Hello, I have a 2008 Sedan and recently had my brakes replaced. The drum brake on the rear passenger tire rubs the inside of the wheel cap when I drive for 5-10 minutes. I've had my mechanic brother look at it and he has tried to adjust the brake to make it set closer to the bearing, shave the side of the drum brake that was rubbing, and replaced the bearing altogether but it still rubs.

Has anyone had this issue before and maybe had a solution not already tried?

Thanks!

sounds like a wrong shoe or wrongly installed shoe

I'm not getting it, is the drum rubbing the backing plate?

I'm lost as to what 'wheel cap' is.
