you need to keep some things in mind..our cars were never made for this and the roof itself has little to no actual structure beyond the outter most edges.....so anything that simply sits on the roof and not on the outter edges is going to be like a cannonball into a swimming pool

I was hoping to load the bag with clothing, but maybe a bad idea still......

Provided it's not an outrageously heavy pile of clothes, I don't see that type of cargo being an issue.

while i would agree....the issue is multiplyed by wind force..the roof just wasnt ment for anything on it
