Fix plastic trim on side of passenger seat

Hi all! Hoping someone can help with a problem I've got. The plastic trim on the side of the passenger seat in my 2016 Yaris has been partially pulled away from the seat, and I can't push it back on.

As you can see in the second photo, there is a catch at the front which is far from touching, and another in the middle. This one seems to be stuck, I can't push it back in at all.

The catch at the front makes it appear that the plastic trim should be pushed on from behind, but I can't seem to pull it backwards and off.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated!

ive pulled a few seats in the wrecker and can tell you that you need to pull the seat to truely get the force required to get it in place, let alone see what your doing

Ohhh…that's not what I was hoping to hear! :frown: You say force needs to be applied—pushing it straight back into place? Or am I likely to damage something if I try that? Do you have any you could get a photo of, showing how it attaches / comes off?

its more about the angles and not being able to propperly align it and get your hands in there
