Pulling engine.

Getting ready to pull my engine and transmission so I can swap in a used transmission. Any maintenance I should do while it’s out? Timing chain/ tensioner? Water pump? Etc. Car has just about 300k on it. Just trying to think ahead. It’s a 2010 4 door hatch.

after seeing my chain guides not locked down by the factory...yes id pop that side case open and inspect the chain, guides and remaining tension, as far as the water pump goes id want to know how long the engines been sitting and how many miles are on it...

Like 298 thousand miles been sitting for 6 months but previous to that it was sitting for about a year before I got it.
